As an advocate for the digital skills ecosystem, we lobby for the adoption of the National Digital Skills Framework, and all the levers needed to make it successful.
Over the past four years, the Presidential Youth Employment Initiative (PYEI) has united government departments, businesses, industry associations, and social partners to enhance entry-level digital skills in South Africa. The Collective X collaborates closely with the PYEI team and officials from various government departments to create significant job opportunities.
As part of the government-business partnership to tackle unemployment led by Business Unity South Africa (BUSA), the delivery of the digital skills scale-up, coordinated by Collective X, has been adopted as one of the key delivery programmes.
